# Troubleshooting

> What to do when the pane cannot sign in, cannot attach a document, or does not appear in the ribbon.

> **The pane says it could not generate a workup and offers to sign in again**
>
> The session has expired or the stored token is no longer valid. Choose the sign-in action in the banner and authenticate again.

> **The draft was created but Outlook did not attach a document**
>
> Outlook declined the attachment. The pane tells you which files were affected so you can add them to the reply manually.

> **The pane could not reach Outlook's compose form**
>
> Click **Reply** on the message first, so a compose form is open, then run the draft action again.

> **The email was skipped**
>
> Herman classified the message as not containing an RFQ, quote, or order question. Use **Run workup anyway** to force a workup, or switch to **Material Copilot** and ask directly.

> **Users cannot see the ribbon button after deployment**
>
> Centralized deployment can take up to 24 hours to propagate. Confirm the user is in the assignment scope, and that their Outlook client meets the Mailbox 1.5 requirement set needed for add-in commands. See [Requirements](https://docs.plastics.com/integrations/outlook/setup.md#requirements).

> **Pricing, quote price, or Convert to Customer RFQ are missing**
>
> These require a merchant organization and a merchant role, and are enforced server side rather than only hidden in the interface. Material Selection and in-pane agent approvals additionally require the `agentic` capability on your account. See [Feature availability](https://docs.plastics.com/integrations/outlook/overview.md#feature-availability).
