MCP is missing from the merchant portal
Confirm that you are signed in to the correct seller organization and that MCP has been enabled for that account. Buyer accounts do not have seller MCP access. Ask your administrator or Plastics contact to check provisioning. The page says access must be provisioned
Your account needs active seller membership, organization-level MCP enablement, and MCP access on your current role. Individual tools also need their ordinary permissions. Refresh after an administrator changes access.Service status is unavailable
Refresh status. The trial service can take longer to respond after inactivity. If the problem persists, contact your Plastics contact with the time of the check and the displayed error. Do not send access tokens, API keys, or private document contents. An older service deployment may not support the status-aware portal yet. An administrator must complete the coordinated service and portal rollout. Unavailable status does not prove that a tool is disabled.A tool is disabled
Read its reason on the Tools page. A tool can be absent from the deployed service or denied by your role. Signing in again does not enable a service capability or add permissions.A tool is marked Preview
It is not released for seller accounts. Buyer pricing, buyer quotes, and RFQs cannot be enabled by choosing a different client or creating a credential. The portal shows Live, but the AI application cannot connect
The portal has checked the service and account permissions; it has not checked your AI application’s connection. Confirm the verified URL includes/mcp, choose OAuth, use the same seller account, and confirm your AI workspace allows custom MCP connections. Ask the application to check the Plastics connection status.
After tool changes, refresh metadata in the AI application and start a new conversation. If tools return authorization errors after a role or membership change, ask your administrator to review access rather than retrying a restricted operation.
