The snippet has two parts: a configuration object and a script tag. Add both immediately before your closing </body> tag.
Use the snippet generated for you in the Integrations page rather than hand-writing one. It is populated with your real brand colors, logo, assistant name, and tenant ID, and the values must match your account for the widget to return your catalog.
For what each field does, see Configuration.

WordPress

Most block themes give you nowhere to paste a raw script tag. The same snippet dialog offers a WordPress tab with a plugin instead: a pre-configured zip that loads the identical hosted widget with your domain, position, and auto-open setting already filled in. See WordPress Plugin.

Demoing on a site you do not control

The snippet dialog also offers a Demo on any site mode. This produces the same configuration and script loader as two console statements, so you can open any page, paste them into the browser developer console, and see the branded assistant appear on that page. Nothing is installed and the widget disappears on reload. This is meant for live demos and prospect walkthroughs, not for production.

Updates

The script is served with caching disabled, so you always receive the current version without having to change your snippet.

Removing the widget

Delete both script tags from your page. To tear the widget down at runtime without reloading, call:
This unmounts the interface, flushes any pending telemetry, removes the widget’s container and styles from the page, and restores normal page scrolling.
