Quoting workflow
Inputs, configuration checks, connections, and review for Quoting.
Purpose: work from a customer request and commercial evidence toward a quote or reply for review.
Inputs to check: the correct customer and product, quantity and units, relevant pricing evidence, and any terms or availability that the source systems actually support.
Configure and inspect: open the available Quoting workflow in Agents. Inspect its supported configuration and review behavior. Do not assume that a prepared draft is sent or that permission to manage Agents allows changing commercial policy.
Connections: the request may originate in Intake or another supported channel. Pricing and availability must come from the appropriate source of truth, not a lesson or a previous customer’s quote.
Example: review a proposed quote against the requested grade and quantity. If current pricing is unavailable, resolve that gap before approving a customer-facing response.
Review: check recipient, product, quantities, currency, terms, attachments, and the proposed operation. Use the workflow’s supported approval controls; do not treat a draft as an accepted order.
